Wanting to get some input on whether to get +1 or +2 a-arms. I am thinking about entering some races, but haven't yet. I do some dune riding and I like to jump big. The majority of my riding is in the trails though. I want the added stability of the +2 but still be able to ride through the trails. I will probably be getting Works triple rates w/rezzies when I order the a-arms, so all I need to do now is figure out which width to get. Any experience or input you have would be appreciated.

+1 arms can work for racing, jumping, trail riding and wrecking.:D
I use the +1 arms for all the uses above and they work great you get the best of both worlds this way..

I use +2 and I only ride mx.

BTW those a arms sure dont look like +3 maybe you should adjust the preload in your shocks to get some sag.

I think what houser-416ex , oops i mean Rico has should be exactly what you want. Good luck on it.

Thanks for all the input. I am probably going to go with the +1 because of all the trail riding I do.

You can always get the +2 a-arms and run the douglas 4+1 wheels which would be the same width as a +1 a-arm with stock wheels. I will get a measurement of the width tomorrow and some pics. You can always change the wheels/tires and adjust the axle and go mx or dune ride in about twenty minutes max. You end up with more wheel travel without sacraficing width for trail riding. :p

I have had both and never had trouble with either of them in the woods. The upper ball joints on my +1 laegers did hit the springs on my shocks though.
