Can someone decipher these directions?

I bought an engine off of ebay, I need to pick it up, I talked to the guy on the phone, he told me his address was :

14-30 broadway, long island city, ny 11106.

Ok... What the hell is "14-30" he told me "fourteen dash thirty" ALSO, when I searched mapquest, it came up as being in Astoria, I dont know if thats what they call that part of long island or what. Anyone?

I say just email the guy back and ask him about that, or try to remove the dash mabey?

its 1430, and its on the line of long island city and Astoria, I redid the search and it came up long island city, did it again and it was astoria. Same directions.
