300 or 400

i have an '02 300ex (stock). if i got a 400 would it be worth it to sell the 300 to get the 400 or could i just buy some mods. to put on it to get it up around a 400. i am on a tight budget and dont no which would be better.

deffinately get the 400. i had a 2001 300 with an hmf and sold it to get a 2001 400. there is no comparison between the 300 and 400 plus if you get an older model not having reverse isnt a pain at all i have yet to need it. DEFFINATELY get the 400

my friends have reverse kfx, rappy, warrior, and for where we ride EVEN tight woods some times its just easier to man handle the bike, i dont regret not having reverse i can do without it and have been for quite some time. as far as the 05, 06 400ex's HONDA you should have kept them looking like a 400 and not the 450s matter of preference i guess, but im for those two big ol' light up frount more then the bug eye.

a friend of mine has a 300, ive got a 400.

things i noticed. drag racing? no contest, i could give him a headstart and id win. His ground clearance also suffered. while gong through trails he bottemed out like twice.
