I am needing some rings for my 2000 400ex and I was wondering if i could buy just rings by there selfs because I need the ringsbut dont need a piston or any other items. Do they require any other accessories? thanX for the input.

Yes you can buy just rings without having to replace the piston.

Yes, you can buy just the rings from the manufacturer of the piston. You dont need anything else to do the job except a ball hone if you plan on honing your cylinder out yourself. Or you could get the cylinder honed at a shop for like 15 bucks...

ThanX for the input. I am wanting a 426 and I need rings right now. I am wanting to widen my quad right now though. I am ordering axle and a-arms this week. I have the money to get that stuff but not the 426 and the arms and axle. So what do you suggest doing.

Definitely hook up your chassis before doing the engine. Obviously youll want to make sure you got shocks for the new setup as well, and dont use the stockers
