i bought a pair of front works triple rate shocks with rez for 225 dolars today and i was wondering if i got a good deal?

Sorry to say but your stock 450r shocks are just as good if not better than the works.

That's because they are made for your quad and not for the 450R. You should spend an extra $300 and get the rear revaled w/ elka parts.
