Points tie

When the points are tied, how do they figure out which place the tied guys are in? I looked in the ATVA rule book on line, but didn't see it. Besides, it was way too much to read. Thought maybe someone could tell me on here. Some one told me it was who had the better finishes? Let me know if you know....Thanks

Genarally in the event of a year end tie, they would look back to see who had the most 1st place finishes. If it is still a tie they look at 2nd, then 3rd and so on......

After all of this if it is still a tie then they will go with who finished highest in the last race.
