mother's amg polish really is great for taking out dirt in scratches. the only thing it takes off with it is the shine of the plastics as well.

Plastic renew is a pain in the butt.

Mop & Glow
or
Tire Foam both work great.

Quick, Easy, Cheap, and looks good.

Use Lemon Pledge.
Spray it on..........
wipe in circular motion.......
Buff it with a SOFT terrycloth rag.

I race XC and my black plastic is just buffed from mud and all. I tried tons of products out there including tire products ect. I found this stuff call formula 2000 from turtle wax co. and it is awesome stuff. Gives it a wet look even after it is wiped off and hides all but the deepest scratches and you have to look close to see those. Give it a try, it's easy on the wallet too.

I use soft scrub and a soft scrubbing pad to get the dirt out of scratches and then coat the plastics in either tire foam or armorol (sp?).

PC renew does not look like sh it after you are done. It is the best stuff out there to use. It isnt that hard to sand your plastics.

Dont pressure wash the plastics. Especially black ones. That will make it look bad. Why shouldnt you pressure wash the engine?

pressure washing black plastic gets all the dirt out. then you use back to black or sumthing. looks alright when done.
