I'm probablly going to be gettin a 250r. It will more than likely be stock. I will be riding dunes and trails alot. I was thinking gettin it bored out .20 just to make sure the top end is fresh, then i wanted to put a sparks pipe on it, boyseen reed valves, kn filter, obviously get it jetted. Will that be enough to keep up with yfzs and raptors and banshes at the dunes and on the trails. or should i do more, and what should i do if needed.

No not quite yet. If money is no issue, go with a ESR big bore and you'll have absolutely no problems. If you want to keep stock cylinder than go with 38mm A/S carb, ported/polished cylinder, and a good pipe like ESR TRX5 or 6 to accomadate for porting. I have similar mods as listed above and I don't have any problems at the dunes. Just remember that with motor mods come suspension mods too because your stock suspension can only handle so much!
