Aim Help

[APK400exRacer]

Ok i need some help with the program "AIM or AOL INSTANT MESSENGER". I can sign in and everything fine and my buddy list will load. But when i click on someone to "IM" or someone "IMs" me the program has an error window pop up and says something like "AIM has encountered an error and needs to close....." Any ideas on what to do?

u could re install it. only take like 10 minutes at the most

yeh mine does that every once in a while,but I just sign off then sign back on and it works,it usually happens when i dont let my computer full load then try to sign on.

that happened to me a few weeks back and i jsut did the system go back to when the problem didnt happen, worked.

or do as rico said and delet and re-install, that should work also.

It use to happen to me eveyrday till i got my computer reformated. Seense then it did it once but it's been like a year. Try reinstalling or look for the aim fix.

got it, it was a setting in earthlink

uninstall it and then download an updated version...they make a new version almost every week and the other ones go bye bye and they dont work anymore...then if that doesnt work call aol
