atv title question...

I just sold my 99 400ex to a guy in LA. In Indiana we are not required to title atvs so I never had a title for it. I went ahead and sent him a bill of sale with the VIN, selling price, and everything else on it.

However, he is saying that he needs the title in order to be able to register it. Does anyone know anything I can do to help him out get the 400ex registered?

As far as I know If you have a copy of the bill of sale try going down to the honda dealer and see if they could get you one from honda. I had to do that with the yamaha I had. Give it a try I wouldn't hurt to try.
