Is the DG RCM exhaust system a good pick for a 300ex used for trail riding. Also any words of wisdom about the dial a jet system. I am sure I will need to rejet my carb and the dial a jet seams like a good system.

The dg is very loud and not worth the money. HMF slip on would be better and close to the same price. Everything I've heard about the dial a jet has been negative. Just go with individual keihin jets when you rejet. You'll be much happier with the results. The pipe manufacturer should be able to give you proper jetting instructions.

DG pipes may be loud but they make the quad sound awesome. i havent heard a better sounding one besides mine and all my neighbors agree. they are cheap but they add the same quality to money ratio as every other pipe does.

i have a DG system on one of my bikes and i dont think its too bad, but theres deffinitly way better pipes to put on your bike. especially for the 300ex/250x.

try HMF, DMC, Big Gun, Pro Circuit, FMF, White Bros etc... im pretty sure all these brands, if not most, have pipes in the same price range as DG but are just a better exhaust system

DG rocks, why pay a grip for a fancy name pipe when a dg will do the same if set up right, the money you save can go towards a pr of shocks, something you'll really notice.:)
