What kind of aftermarket lighting is available? I'd like to get some really bright lights for night rides...

But I want to make sure the bike will be able to handle the draw; nothing would be worse than being 20 miles from civilization with a dead battery. :o

I just bought some 55w halogen's from wally world for like $20.

You might look for a set that pulls 35w, itll be easier on the battery and if you do get them, make sure you turn em off whenever your not riding. You have no pull-start and an auto-clutch...dont let it die. :p

Gee, thanks for the info. A $5000 quad as a suggestion when I ask about a $50 set of lights.

Thanks Striker and LazeR for the helpful answers. I'll check out Walmart. And I had seen the helmet lights before, but I wasn't sure how bright they are. I'll check those out too

Don't get the 35watt light!! This is a heads-up! Your stock 250ex light is already 35watts!!!

better take the light back if you got it already.

I think its something like when it dies u put it in nuteral then shift up, but when u shift up hold it up ,then get it rolling down a hill then when its going fast enough hit the start button then let go of the shift lever so its in first gear. I think its like that, dunno though

Yeah, I know... I'd get the 55W if it won't put a strain on my charging system.
