I'm rinning UNI's on my trikes, I put them on right outta the box, dry i guess,,,does the pre filter part of it need oiled?

A "dry" foam filter is useless:rolleyes:

TravEx you need some of this Filter Oil. (http://www.maximausa.com/products/filteroils/fft.asp) There are lots of suppliers out there that have filter oil in bottles and aerosol cans. Maxima just happens to be my favorite. If you have not cleaned and oiled your air filter then you really need to do this before you ride again. The oil is really what makes the filter work to keep contaminants from entering your engine.

I use belray oil filter on my stock one but when I will buy a UNI I will try aerosol one

A foam filter is like no filter if you don't put oil on it

well, i wish it woulda had that on the instructions on the box,,,can i use K&N filter oil?

Yes, I use it on my K&N and Uni type filters with great results.
