Does it hurt your graphics kits like on the tank of the 450r where it has the air holes to breath.. Cause all of a sudden mine started bubbling so bad I had to remove them.. When I put them on for about 2 weeks there was not any bubbles....

idk but i dont use it on my plastic anywhere...i believe that it will fade it after a while...i just use it on the metal and engine and use hot water and soap on the plastic

You got it backwords Jesse I believe...I have always heard that using it on metal (IDK if they mean bare or wat) but I have always heard simple green will slowly eat away at metal or something? I remember reading about it a long time ago and the final conclusion was not to use it on your motor, but you can use it on your plastics. The thread I read it on was over at atvforums, not here.

Your stickers bubbling are probably from the gas tank. if you put a sticker on a gas tank, it wont bubble right away, but within a week or 2, it will.

I always wash my plastics with Simple Green, Wash my motor with just regular dish soap and a scrub brush is nessacary. Then after its dry, I go over all the plastics and parts of the motor with Armor-All. Makes it shine, hides stress marks, and also makes it easier to clean the dirt and mud off the next time you wash it.

I haven't heard of it fading plastics, I always use it on mine and they haven't faded yet.

as stated, some graphics kits are not perforated and will bubble off the gas tank.

simple green hasnt done me wrong and works like a champ.

i hope they are understanding. i have a feeling they will tell you too bad and either blame it on improper installation, your cleaning method or spilled fuel. but try calling them!

I'd say it's just the fact that it's on a gas tank. I've had it happen in the past myself and I quit putting graphics directly on the tank so that it doesn't happen anymore... tired of wasting money.

Oh and the simple green is not hurting anything, it's Non-toxic and will not eat up anything on a quad but dirt.

guess the gas tank will be graphicless from now on though.. thats a bummer

I heard Simple Green has a new powersports cleaner out that's supposed to work great! I just can't find it anywhere. I looked at Walmart, Autozone, etc... We use Simple Green all the time. Works great!
