I have red plastic and want to get my frame powder coated but i dont no how it would look if it was red or if it was black(frame). Can yall post some pictures of the two colors? Also what is a good price to have this done?

well what color is your quad? im getting a black 450r if i get one, and over the winter im having the frame done gloss black as well, be like a night rider w/ polished everywhere, somewhat like Pappy's old 450r

with red plastic you might want to try a yellow frame it looks really good

I dont have any pics for you but just a suggestion. If your a hard rider or jump the quad some think about getting the frame gusseted, atleast around the upper motor mount. I just read on here or another site where another guy took the quad apart and had the frame powder coated then the frame started cracking. Mine started cracking so I had it all done at once. Just a suggestion if youve got the money for it all it may save some in the long run.

yea i have heard that gusseting your frame will save you in the long run, i really like the looks of that 450r with the candy red frame.

A Charcoal Metallic would look very good with Red plastic...

I have a silver vein frame and subframe, by quad has red front black tank and black rear plastic with a KandK tribal flame kit. its awesome! I will take pics of the frame as soon as this weekend is over.

well, i own a red 450r now, hehe, weird how things turn out right.. anyway, does anyone have a pic of the yellow frame w/ red plastic combo? sounds interesting

This was done with a metalic base coat with a translucent red over the top. It cost me $250 to have it done and it looks AWSOME when you get it in the sunlight.
