+1 or +0 forward steering stem

Im gettin an aftermarket +1 longer stem. Should i get it +1 forward to or leave that alone. By the way its for a 400ex I do MX and XC.

a more foward stem will put you in a more crouched position, if you are really tall and feel cramped with the stock stem, it would be a good idea to get it, otherwise, i would leave it alone

Agreed, I tend to lean my bars back to be more comfortable.
