400ex plastic Fit 450r?

I was wondering if the 05 400ex plastics would fit a 450r?

I doubt it! They are totally different. Why would you do that anyway?:confused: If it's for the yellow plastic, Maier makes yellow for the R.;)

I looked at this for a long time, you would have to change everything for the front, the only thing that might, might work is the headlight and the center piece. Look at how it bolts at the tank and you will see what I mean. The rears I don't believe are compatible at all because they bolt on a 450 and the seat latches on and on the 400 the whole thing just latches.

The 450R also has a notch for the radiator cap in the front and the kickstarter in the rear. The 400 plastic will have neither.

You'll half to have a different gas tank too.
