grrr cant figureout how to resize on the new puter. Heres the 1st hill you have to go up to hit 12 miles of powerlines that are some killer trails.

The thing that makes it so hard is no running room.Straight out of a creek and up!

thos were decent hillclimbs, u should see some of the ones by my house!! they r really really steep and really really long, another thing hard about them is that u dont have any room to get speed and train tracks r right at the top... so if a train is coming, ur screwed!!

pics/videos of hillclimbs NEVER do them justice... I have been so proud to climb a hill and got it on tape then pop it in ye ole VCR and it looks like im climbing an anthill

there is a pretty good hill climb local. I will bring along the dig camera next time I go.

it isnt all that steep or tall but has some watter at the bottom which prevents you from getting a good head start. i can just barley climb it in 2nd gear on my 416ex with bald tires. my buddies 450r does it a little better.

damn u should see mine!!! you have no room to get going and you have no room at the top to stop if your going too fast... (which is almost impossible because you lose all your speed going up...) the hillclimbs by me are so fun... even the smallest one if about 40-50 feet tall!!

before that tree fell doun I was able to go up around that little green shurb to the right of the pic then doun. the bottom is kinda steep. if I hit it with any more speed than seccond when I hit the bottom the shocks bottom out.

we had to move back pretty far to get a pic of the entire thing... so it looks kinda small, the pics from up-top though show u how steep it is

so farr the only one that is event comparible to what i try and climb where I ride is the first pic that Kilabanshee poasted.

I will try and take some shots soon. every time I go to go riding I am so excited I forget the camera.

these hills are in a abandon sand pit. one of them is so steep that I dident event want to attempt it. my friend on his 450r tried it. mid way he started to do a wicked wheelie. so he let off and had to stop. he would have fallen raight off the face of the hill if I wasnent there to sit on his front bumper so he could slide back doun the hill. some pretty scary stuff.

Yeah these are abandoned coal mines. Tons of trail riding and huge hillclimbs. That climb in the picture is really steep. almost strait up and down for 200' I'll take more pictures next time I'm up there.

I haven't seen huevos 7. Was Dunk riding in PA? If so do you know what town? There are some crazy hillclimb jumps aroud the coal mines we ride.

hey man than picture of you is that place you were at called the 500s. because i go down to those hill climbs a lot. i think that hillclimb is the easy hill climb on the far end of it. but it is still hard i think. but i do a couple of the other ones there too.

Picture is kinda crappy. It was dark out and I had to lighten the pic some. Notice the rocks sticking out of the hill just beneath my tires. This hill is short, but a lot steeper than it looks in the picture, and you only get about ten foot for a running start.

Well this isn't the steapest climb on the hill. This one is pretty worn out from all the quads and dirt bikes going up and down it so much. If you were to climb to the left or right side of his climb I doubt you would make it up unless your running mud sharks or sand tires. Its really loose! I'll probably be setting up a exriders.com ride here towards the end of the month. You should come and show ous what you got.

no offense but most of those hills are jus regular hills up by me you guys should really see these two that only few dare to climb its like 100+ feet high and probably like 80 degree angle its almost straight up a guy on a brand new rancher tried it a few years back and learned the hard way almost everything on his four-wheeler was broke from falling but he got lucky and grabed a tree and had some people pull him up from the top cuz he almost made it to the top

yeah, those are the kinds that im going to post..theres one that a good 5-6 have tried and made it. and another that only 3 people have tried that i know of, two of them made it and one of them wasnt so lucky. its a lot like "the wall" in huevos 4, its maybe 50ft 40 feet of it is a good 70 degree angle uphill, then u have to jump a 10ft basically straight up and down cliff (the cliff part of it, i'd say is at least 90 degrees) its nuts, one guy on a 400ex(sadly he passed away early this year because of a motorcycle accident). the other on a cr250r bike...and about the one that didnt make it, i believe he was aboard a predator, im not for sure. but he came out of the fall in decent shape, just a few cuts and bruises, although the pred didnt look too good

Very nice pics to all who posted.

One thing I noticed as I read this thread is that everyone believes their hillclimbs are so much harder than everyone else's. Its a shame you cant get the full effect of seeing a climb as you do in real life. I guess you just have to see most of them in real life to understand how steep and tall they truly are. Maybe you should think about that before you tell someone their hills are sorry.

I agree, the wall really doesnt look that bad in huevos 4. But, if you try to walk up to it, it is really steep. But, on the other hand...going up it on a quad, it dont "feel" that steep:D :devil:

pictures never show something as it really is... so you can't just look at a picture and say "o man that's not steep" cause it looks different in real life

well i don't go there cause of the sand bein 2 sifted and needin paddles 4 pit is dumb thats why we lost 1 areea cause of fear of some1 gettin hurt we lopst bennits cause it got flatened for buisness reason normal and some others are blocked off

the pit I ride in all I have to watch out for is the loders and excovators. for the moast part they just wave to me.

i'm on the warrior :) lol i actualyl tried to jump off of that but only got maybe 6 inches off the ground. really really hard t oget a good run at it.. it's all pea gravel and it is really loose without paddles.
