Ok I decided to remove the choke of the 400EX so I ordered a 42 pilot jet like everyone said to do. Well I thought I knew what I was doing and pulled off the bottom of the carb and tryed to put in the Jet first WELL I figured couldent find where this things sposta go I had springs FLYING and I was wondering if it was gonna get back together, well it did but I still what to replace the jet I ordered it from marcums on the recept it says #42 SERIES 22 PILOT JET is this the one I need? They charged me $3.80 for it.

Wellll....... the series 22 is the wrong one, i think... You need a series 21.
There is also a very good thread in the FAQ forum by Zingnut, titled "Instructions on changing your pilot jet (cures cold starting blues)"
