lol excuse the name. whenever i get my quad wet i get a shock in my lever, which is decently strong. nothin to stop my from riding but its annoying at hell. sometimes it gets pretty bad depending how wet i am. haha. does this mean i have a short somewhere or wat.

I've had that happen too. It is caused by water getting into the switches on the bars, and then the shock traveling through the water to your hand. It is from the kill switch. You can try to seal it up better to keep water out.

ya i noticed it would happen when i my bars got wet aka my kill switch. i was jsut gonna wrap it up a lil better with some electrical tape any other suggestions. thanks for the help.

my pro design tether was hooked up wrong on my blaster and one tim in the snow i touched it and my arm jolted back and i lost control of the quad. my arm went numb for 2 hours too. :eek2:

Thats go to suck to get shocked while you are riding.. So is it in the kill switch connection

I have a prodesign killswitch and never get shocked when I was riding under rain :ermm:

mine isnt nearly that serious. its jus a small jolt but its annoying as hell. im gonna look into it problably this weekend hopefully i can fix it.

If your using a pro design,make sure the wire coming out of the end that has the aluminum button is going to ground and the other to the hot side of coil.If this is reversed,it can knock the pee out of ya.
