I use a KodakEasyShare cx6330 3.1 mp, paid $180 for 1 1/2 years ago. It's not real big either.

Look in the WORCS race coverage section for samples:)

I have the dsc-p73 sony. It takes awesome pictures. I think the p93 is a smaller camera. Although the p73 is pretty small too. If you want some samples I can e-mail them to you. Alos try

This guy reviews every digital camera and each camera is reviewed in incredible detail. I came to the decision on both cameras from this guys reviews.
Now that I have a 4mp camera I would never get anything less the picture quality between 3 and 4 is huge.

I use a Sony Dsc p51 and p93 they are very good cameras.. And take good pics.. The only thing I dont like is the delay it has (like a 1-2 sec delay) so for like action pics you have to be moving with the action.. But for still pics it works great..

SPUDSS, I was disappointed in my dsc-p73 for the exact same reason. I found that if you set the camera to manual mode and adjust the shutter speed to 1/1000 (the fastest shutter speed) and then take action shots you get instant shots. I brought mine to the dunes on this setting and every pic of riding and jumping turned out crystal clear. If you need help settig it up let me know. The reasion this works well is because it isn't trying to auto focus and adjust for lighting.
This will give you an idea of what that setting will do for action shots.

Of course these are small sized. I have the originals if you are interested in seeing them.

Gotta remeber when you resize, it messes the quailty up some. You wont get PERFECT pictures for under 250

I don't think you want to spend as much as I did but I bought the Canon Digital Rebel XT SLR. It's very expensive but this will be the camera I will only take on trips now. It's 8.3 megapixels. Check it out but I don't think you'll want it. I just picked up a wierd new memory card for it called micro-drive. It's like a compact-flash card but it has a mini hard drive in it. Got a 4.0G memory card for $150. Here's the like to it.

http://www.steves-digicams.com/microdrive.html

And here's the one for the camera

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=7026069&type=product&productCategoryId=cat04008&id=1099394810083

This memory card holds tons of pics. I hope this helps make up your mind. I figured that I would spend the money on this kind so I could change lens if I wanted and it will last for a long time.

I used to run the microdrive in my previous camera. I would highly advise against it. They are slow and they use allot of your battery. Flash is the only memory I would use. Also the microdrive is more apt to fail or break because it is an actual mini hardrive with platters and arms etc....

I am not trying to flame you in any way. To each there own, I just want people to know there are down sides to the micro drives. Maybe they have changed them since the 384mb one that I had.

i love my cannon powershot a5-10, 3.2 mega pixel,4x optical zoom

I never used one of these micro-drives before. They looked interesting so I decided to try it. I have a couple of old cameras that use the CF type media. I could always switch later on down the road if this one does work. The main reason I got it is because it was the same price as the CF type. Now I don't know if they dropped the price because they have problems or if they really do work well. I'm sure they have made improvements since you first had yours. To this date I haven't really been taking a whole days worth of pictures so I really don't know how much of the battery it uses up. I'll let you know.
