While turning the motor over the cam chain fell down and got jammed and this happened......

What is the importance of this? Would JB Weld work?

Just put some duck tape on it. Duck tape fixes every thing:macho

Looks like it's just a stiffening gusset. You got very lucky. ;)

That's what I first thought but I also wonder if it has anything to do with oil flow/control :confused:

hey joe i would give colby a call about that,it doesnt look like it does anything only a support area,but it makes me wonder about that oil blocking/control

yup yup,he seems to know the 400ex motors very well....how did that happen tho..the timing chain fell off?it skipped a tooth or the chain tensioner wasnt tight>

While rebuliding the motor I was turning it over to check the squish, the chain slipped down and I didn't stop turning soon enough:ermm:

ahh that sux....you give colby a holler yet?i kinda want to know if that is a problem of not,hey it might even be good,lol more oil getting somewhere?lol sounds good hope its like that to

Colby say's it's ok to run it:)

I was going to get the crf chain but they wont be able to get it to me in time, guess who's used chain he's sending me:eek: :p
