J Farmer, you need a team mate or two? I ain't fast as you guys but I have some seat time. I raced like 3.5 hours of the last one, good enough for a 3rd in b anyways. Bob

I know what you are saying snow. The Few Illinois racers always travel to Iowa. You Iowans have to leave your state and try other races, like this saturdays OMA Moose run:D

parkers30
06-01-2005, 07:23 PM
Exactly..... you guys need to come to the OMA, I'll be there unless something crazy happens :D

does that mean I am one of the few? :chinese:

I'm thinking seriously about the OMA show in Morrison. (It's in the Quad Cities area, right?) If so it's fairly close to me - and one thing I DO need is experience and race time! Hafta see how my schedule works out.

I ran the Moose run last year.

Awesome race I finished 4th or 5th overall.
Lots of water last year

I would go but my teamates need to ride my quad before the 6hrs so Were going to go practice:cool:

Can't go. I'm out of money till some more bills get paid on account of the fact that I spent all my $$ on rear Razr2's and t9 Bajas. :D I'll be at the next Iowa race on schedule though!

I'll be there helping with last minute set-up on Friday and prepping my voice for a whole day of announcing on Saturday. Don't let the weather scare you. I know this area can take a lot of rain and the track crew has been working on the track all week. I heard it's awesome, I know it's using the entire mx track and is almost 8 miles in total length.

Cya Saturday.

Shawn H

Ill be there tomorrow!

I wonder how the start is and where we can pit.

Thats my only concern:(

the Z Man
06-09-2005, 03:41 PM
The pits should be just like the 12 hour race.. awesome set up..

Shawn H
06-09-2005, 07:32 PM
Well I figured that I was there remember lol.

See the problem with Arkansaw Cycle part is theres plenty of fields up above but theres a 2mile MX course down in a valley and not much room to pit unless they reroute somehow. Thats where it will be the most exciting and you can see the most so Im hoping it will be done there somehow?
