Aftermarket Oil Cooler

Does anyone know if they make a aftermarket oil cooler for the 400EX? If so, is it worth the money? My 400 runs so damn hot, I am getting ready to put a piston and cam in and I wanted to make sure it would not be running too hot after that.

do you have an aftermarket oil tank? a bigger oil tank helps some. there is a thread on this site that explains how to make a better oil cooler. also do you have some wind deflectors that go under the front fenders? they help push extra air to the engine.

Yeah, I've got the air scoops, she still runs hot. I will check for the thread, thanks.

Are you jetted correctly? Most people overheat cause they run them soo lean.

maby you can rig up a fan like on the trx 450r.
