rod strength

i want to put in a 11:1 416 piston but i don't want to change the stock rod. will the stock rod hold up to thay upgrade or do i need to get a hd rod?

Should be okay but just as fair warning..

My top end in my 400 was rebuilt a lot. Rings were going bad for some unknown reason...turns out my rod was bad..that was on a stock bore 400 with nothing but a hotcam stage 1 and ported and polished head....I am not saying anything will go wrong with yours, but just letting you know. Theres plenty of people that run the stock rod on a 416.
