I took my quadracer jug to get it bored out and the guy screwed up and broke the sleeve, put a new one in it, and i dont know *** he was doing and he totally messed it up, and now it does not have any power. there is metal shaved away and grind marks, yada yada yada...anyway is there any place i can get a ready to use quadracer jug kit or something of that nature. it would be nice if it came with the piston and rings and everything. can anyone help??

sounds like he owes you a new jug!!! tell him to replace it.:eek2:

If that guy is right at all he would replace it if not do what he^said kick his *** or something.

i am thinkin about it....lol. The funny thing is, is when he broke the sleeve he wanted me to buy a knew one, we didnt so he got mad and he took like no care in putting it back together, we believe the sleeve is rotated slightly and in the center of the jug where the air flows he like chilsed away metal or something you can see grind marks its screwy and now my bike has no top end, you can hold it wide open in any gear and it wont rev up more than half way. and there is piston slap also, at least when your in 4th and higher gears

sounds like you need to let it break in before you go trying to rev it up all high...

run it easy for a tank or 2 and change the oil. then see how she runs

We have already, he bored it about two weeks ago. i have ran about 7 or 8 tanks through it and thats where im at right now

My guess is, that since you put it back together the guy will say it was good when he go tdone and that you messed it up. That will be his way of covering his but when he was the one who messed it up to start with. When he does that I would just put a boot up his rear and then order a big bore kit. I don't know the brands that make them for lt, call ct and ask them. Also look in the magazines.
