more rpms can mean death to your engine, ive heard that they make your quad a lot harder to start though if your batterys not fully charged.

if your running a stock motor there is no need for a new cdi box, you only need a new cdi box when you have begun to need the extra rpms because you are producing hp past the stock limiter,
