kfx400 or z400

i think i have made a descison on a new quad....either a kfx400 or a z400...which one would be a better one for a 160 lb 5'10 13 yr old.....and wat are the good and bads about each quad

They are the exact same quad , the kfx actually says suzuki motor corp. on the side of the engine , the only difference is the name and color on the quad. But IMO a kfx400/Z400 might be to much for a 13 year old.

Only diff is the color and the kawi has an extra piece of plastic over the light ( i have a Z and my bro has the kfx both '05's) killer machines plush as hell on the trails. The one thing i love about these is that the throttle trig. is like butter unlike yamaha.

ok ladys dirt wheels tested all the 400s and the crapter 350 the kfx400 killed every one of them and it says its faster then the z in a drag race so belive what you want but the kfx kicks a**.

What month was that? The kfx and z are exactly the same as far as performance goes , just beacause you have a kfx its not faster!

Read the whole article buddy the only thing it got better was like 2.1mph they claim it was due to different shock settings AND the kawi had 5 previous hours of break in on top of the others which practically came brand new. THEY HAVE THE SAME ENGINE, SUZUKI'S ENIGINE IS IN THE KAWI

depends what color do u like best thats how i made my dicesion between the 2 , they are exactly the same and i weigh just as much as you and i have no broblem but i am 15 and 5'9 lol

you are the stupidest person alive! you think that a kfx is better than a z? WAKE UP DIPCHIT THIER THE SAME QUAD! same plastics, suspension, engine, frame.. if you knew anything about quads you would know that on the left side of the frame on the bottom on a KFX400 it says manufactured my suzuki. the only reason a kfx might beat a z in a drag race is rider difference and experience. why do you think the z400 and kfx400 get the same exact upgrades every year? why do they have the same exact specs? because they are the same. learn your facts before you want to try and prove something you idiot.


oh and you cant go wrong with a z/kfx. great power for anything you want.

Another stupid question, take a Z and a KFX and race them and the KFX totally eats the Z alive. The only reason i would own the KFX400 is because its a Suzuki. Now lets see what where we talking about....... oh yeah i forgot Z400 vs Z400 (Kawi colors). Why dont you do like i use to do, i owned a 03 Raptor and my buddy has a 04 Z 400 and we raced them all the time. That was a race worth talking about. I do own a 05 Z400 now and sent the Raptor to the trade in lot.:D

They are the same quad, My buddy has a Z400 and I have a KFX and they are the exact same, Even the DVX400 is the same but with different plastics. My KFX does say on the frame right below the shift lever Manufactured by Suzuki Corp.
But my KFX is faster then my buddies LTZ and I think its because mine is green. Green is a faster color then yellow or white, It cuts through the air quicker cause the green tints join with the oxygen in the air making it as one, Making no air resistance against the KFX.

get what ever you can find for the cheapest then if you decide you dont like it just switch the plastics :D
