i tried to install it today but the head pipe is hitting my clutch lever arm sticking out of the side case :confused: i never tightened down on it yet,but is it supposed to be that close??

Mine is that close also. If the clutch cable has slack it will hit the headpipe. It is supposed to be there.

thanks man,i was just wondering if i had my head pipe off a lil bit or sumthin.so how is the x-6.good gains in the low to mid?

Really seemed to be a top end pipe for me. This thing rips anywhere in the RPMs though. I have a stg 2 Hotcam so that might be a little why it seems like a top end pipe to me. It is an awesome pipe. You will love it.

Yea. The sparks pipe Kicks ***! Well i didnt have a problem installing my pipe. Just wondering what Jet size are you running. Needle? Im running 190 main jet. Hrc needle 3 rd clip. I followed sparks reccomendation. .

I just put it on, I haven't even jetted yet. It def seems lean on the main. I just haven't had much time to ride it lately to get it dialed in. I believe it has a 185 in it right now.

did any of you guys have a problem putting the silencer onto the head pipe? seem mighty tight.and did yalls come with a clamp or does the heat just seal it? mine didnt come with a clamp.

No clamp, and it should be tight, that way it doesn't leak.

got it on,no problems.just a lil tap with a rubber mallet and she slid rite in :devil: ....wooohoooo.now i get to here her purrrrrrrrrrrr:macho

my buddies x-4 was close like my x-6. however, we need to remember the x-4 has a smaller diameter header too.
