I'm going to be buying either a brand new 400ex or a relativly new 400ex in the next couple of weeks. I was just wondering what kind of mods i should do to it to get the best performance out of it. I will be doing mostly trails and mud. any input would be greatly appreciated thank you in advance.

As always.....pipe jetting and filter.

yeah,pipe/filter and jetting is basic thing

after that you have,more compression piston,cam,porting,polish etc
