Need some help with a shady seller - yz440

This seller is lucky I am on the other side of the world because he definitely deserves to get his teeth kicked in with a sh1t-stained combat boot!!

Here's the deal! Exrider's member yz440 posted a 250R PEP ZPS shock for sale a couple weeks ago. I asked for pics and received them from amanda1631@hotmail.com a day later. I guess I seemed to be the only real buyer so Ryan McDonald sent me a paypal money request from weeman2007@hotmail.com. Because of the secured remote site's firewall restrictions where I was working I was not able to access my gmail for 3 days so Ryan canceled the money request. As soon as I was able to accces my gmail I sent the money to Ryan and he accepted the transfer. When I noticed that I had sent $25 less than the agreed amount I tried to contact Ryan to make sure $400 was OK. I tried for (4) straight days to contact yz440 and he did not answer any of my PM's or emails so I filed a complaint. YZ440 was online here on exriders duirng those (4) days so he had ample chances to contact me. Paypal just ruled in my favor but they can not recover my money since this thief has emptied his paypal and bank accounts. Now here's were things get good. yz440 is still peddling this same PEP shock but the price has gotten as high as $600. I feel back for the next person who falls for his scam.

If somebody knows this shady character I would greatly appreciate it you would jog his memory about the $400 that does not rightfully belong to him. I don't want the shock because I want my damn money back. :mad: I sent him a PM today and he went offline a few minutes after the PM was sent. He has made no effort to dispute my claims or make contact with me in any way so I am branding him a THIEF in the most horrible way.

This guy is an ***..He tried screwing me on a set of 250R nerfs a few weeks back and because I gave him bad feedback he changed his username from jk250R to yz440..I thought it was the same guy because he was from the same city as the other guy and recently joined the site under a different name after I gave him back feedback, but I now I KNOW for sure its the same guy because his friend Ryan McDonald (same email address as well) sent me a money request for the nerf bars..He is from Pottsville, PA and his name is Josh or Justin or something..I deleted all the emails, but it was exact same thing..when I was interested in buying he gave me pics and responded to emails everyday and then after he gets my money no response from him ever again. Then when I email every day about it this jerk Ryan who I sent the money to started calling me names and saying how stupid it was to complain about $125..Well when I filed the complaint with paypal and probably when you sent your money paypal took it from his balance and finally he sent the nerf bars..I found 2 addresses at www.whitepages.com for some Mcdonalds in Pottsville for ya..not sure which one even though one of them is Ryan Mcdonald..I hope they help..Sorry this is so long,but people should know about these 2 people that will rip you off..

Well his other name jk250r isnt banned so look out for him under this name again. If I was you I would call Paypal and talk with them..I got ripped off a little while back and even though they couldnt get me the money out of his paypal account they gave me what they called a courtesy credit of half of what I had given him and they only gave me half because I had gotten half of the parts I was supposed to. Not saying that it will work, but it did for me..It took alot of compalining about how long I have been a member and how it was crappy how they did their refunds to actually get them to work with me. Good luck on this whole thing..its a bad situation all together..

actually pottsville is one of the largest cities in the county and surrounding compared to most in the area except for reading,hazleton and allentown. most cops there are lucky they can find their way to the donut shop let alone track someone down. :ermm:

you guys can rule out the " Brian McDonald ", he is the brother of a guy i work with and is a stand up guy. he also has no relation to Ryan McDonald.
there is another guy i work with that lives on savory street but he is on a different shift than me so it is rare that i get a chance to talk to him. i will try to dig up his # and see if he knows this guy or anything about him. i'll keep you posted as i found out more. in the meantime, contact paypal to get his full name, address and contact information. they should provide you with this being as you have the right to have him brought up on charges for ripping you off. if you have this information, contact the pottsville police. i believe the # is (570)622-1234 but it could have changed over the years.

Between those losers ($400) and the other loser($200) $600 was stolen from me. I want to catch a college football game, see my nieces, go dove hunting and so some bass fishing so I am not flying back just to get the money from the thieves.

I am pursuing this more for the principle than anything else. I am not the only person who got screwed when those jerkoffs posted the PEP rear shock for sell and accpeted money from several different people. At least one of us VICTIMS needs to take some type of action just so these punks can get a glimpse of the light!! :mad:

I got burnt on ebay a while back. Bought some parts from a store called southsideracing. He had like 30 positive feedback that was 100% , I read them, everything seemed cool. He parted out a 400ex... Made lots of money, never sent a single item to anyone. Creeps have found out that its too easy to burn people on the web. I wasn't happy with a transaction I made with j28d, but other than that, I've had pretty good luck buying and selling on this site.

Hey guys thanx for the all feedback on what kind of heeping pile of BS Mr. 250R japan is feeding everybody. Sounds like he has some issues. Anyways since he likes putting my business and info out there go on and check it all out and when you guys out there stumble upon a honest guys ebay profile and see I'm 100% honest with my customers and they appreciate my business then we'll see who's BS carries most weight. But thats all the time I have to write I have important customers to tend to and make sure they get quality items in a timely fashion. I can't sit around a computer and waste precious time bad-mouthing people thinking its going to get me somewhere in life.

Here's the deal! Exrider's member yz440 posted a 250R PEP ZPS shock for sale a couple weeks ago. I asked for pics and received them from amanda1631@hotmail.com a day later. I guess I seemed to be the only real buyer so Ryan McDonald sent me a paypal money request from weeman2007@hotmail.com. Because of the secured remote site's firewall restrictions where I was working I was not able to access my gmail for 3 days so Ryan canceled the money request. As soon as I was able to accces my gmail I sent the money to Ryan and he accepted the transfer. When I noticed that I had sent $25 less than the agreed amount I tried to contact Ryan to make sure $400 was OK. I tried for (4) straight days to contact yz440 and he did not answer any of my PM's or emails so I filed a complaint. YZ440 was online here on exriders duirng those (4) days so he had ample chances to contact me. Paypal just ruled in my favor but they can not recover my money since this thief has emptied his paypal and bank accounts. Now here's were things get good. yz440 is still peddling this same PEP shock but the price has gotten as high as $600. I feel back for the next person who falls for his scam.

If somebody knows this shady character I would greatly appreciate it you would jog his memory about the $400 that does not rightfully belong to him. I don't want the shock because I want my damn money back. :mad: I sent him a PM today and he went offline a few minutes after the PM was sent. He has made no effort to dispute my claims or make contact with me in any way so I am branding him a THIEF in the most horrible way.

i got scammed one time too!!!. i was going to buy my first real quad (250ex) about 5 years back. my dad saw one he liked on ebay for $1200. it had a few mods and looked nice. it was located about 4 hours away so we figured we would go pick it up. the guy emailed us his address so we went to pick it up. we got to the address and turned out it was a fake address. we got home and called the guy and it said "this is not a valid number". we emailed him and he never responded. luckily paypal was nice enough to redeem my dad of his money.

i can inform you all that josh hasn't changed his ways one bit. i lived about 2 miles from him shortly before all of this came about. i now live less than 20 miles from and still keep seeing his name popping up in the arraignments section of the local news paper. DUI, receiving stolen property, theft, other alcohol related charges, etc. it seems his name appears every few weeks. :rolleyes:

one thing i did notice with his new list of charges is a different address to watch out for. here is a copy from the arraignments section of the local paper from a few days ago.

Anyone ever think of selling what is owed to them to a collector for 25 cents on the dollar? You will get some of your money back and the knowledge that the other person didn't get to keep a dime of your money. Trust me, you don't want to be on the wrong end of a collector. Any bail bondsman can hook you up with a collector.

I would think that a collector would need some sort of proof that the money is owed. And something a little more significant than an agreement over an internet forum. I could be wrong though...may be worth a shot. All they can say is no, right?
