Dyno Graphs of the 450r carb and valve work!!

I posted a thread on here a while back and showed pics on how I installed the 450r carb on my bike. Now here are the Graphs of the gains that I got with the 450r carb and the valve work. The curve got alot better. I'm now going to make a 5**cc something with this motor. I will let you know the results when complete. Next Project.:D I gained alot of mid range.

How difficult is to put the 450R carb on the 400?

IMO it was easy. Fit right up to the intake boot and I had to heat the Airbox boot a little so it would stretch. Modifing the choke was the hardest of the install. Everything went together nice.

Cool! Thanks for sharing the chart. :) Your gains are similar to the gains I saw on another dyno of a 416EX with the 450R carb.

From a seat of the pants perspective I definitly would recommend this as a goood upgrade as well. I guess it could be expected that you would lose some bottom end with a larger carb as your chart would indicate. I have a feeling I lost some of my bottom end as well with the carb but the higher peak hp/torque and nice gain in the mid range more than make up for it.
