<center>Round eight of the ATVA/ITP/Moose ATV Motocross Nationals visits Tennessee on May 27, 28 and 29 where the top pros and amateurs will compete.</center>

Blountville, TN – The fastest, highest-flying four-wheeled ATV racers in America will return to the Volunteer State for the Tennessee ATV Spring Nationals presented by Atlas Cycles Suzuki at Muddy Creek Raceway in Blountville, TN on May 27,28, and 29.

Muddy Creek Raceway serves as round eight of the 12-stop ATVA-sanctioned Moose/ITP National Motocross Series – the largest ATV motocross series in the world. The fastest pro racers riding on four wheels will compete along with amateurs of all ages in 29 different classes. Racing takes place on a custom-built one-mile track nestled in the rolling hills with jumps, bumps and high-speed straight-aways to provide a great mix of obstacles. With sponsors including Moose, ITP, Scott, ATV Sport, FMF, Weekend Warrior, Krank-It, ATVNationals.com, Hinson, ATV Racin' Extra, Outerwears, ********.com, Maxxis, Laeger's, Bling Star, Division 4, Legacy, JRD Racing, Walsh Race Craft, LSR, Terry Racing, Hardkore Engineering, Denton Racing, MotoTees and Kymco USA, the top racers make a lucrative living racing ATVs on the tour.

The top factory teams will deploy their sponsored pro racers at the Muddy Creek National. Team Suzuki’s Doug Gust, the defending Pro National Champion, and his teammate, former National Champion Jeremiah Jones, will face the potent Team Honda force of Tim Farr and John Natalie Jr. as this duo leads the points. In addition, a trio of talented riders on Yamahas will battle for the pro win as well: California’s Kory Ellis, Alabama’s Keith Little, and New Jersey’s Travis Spader, a former champion who is making an impressive comeback in 2005.

Muddy Creek Raceway has been recognized as one of the top three tracks in the nation by Motocross Action Magazine, so be sure to check back in at ATVriders.com at 12PM and 3PM Eastern time for Live Coverage of both Pro Motos on Sunday, May 29th.

Its has been a beautiful weekend for racing with temps in the Upper 70’s, which is surprisingly the hottest it has been for a race all season. Unfortunately, a line of rain is moving in from the southwest, and hopefully it stays far enough south to finish up today’s racing.

The attendance is slightly off the record attendance at many other events this season due to the holiday weekend where many decided to head to the beach instead of to the races. The Pro Class also wasn’t immune to the lower attendance as there wasn’t a need to qualify, so instead all the Pros received extra time on the track to practice on Saturday.

Doug Gust grabbed the Holeshot on his Suzuki/Yoshimura machine with Pat Brown, Joe Byrd, and Harold Goodman all wrecking on the start as they fault for the inside line. John Natalie Jr was back to 6th place off the start, but quickly made his way through the pack in behind Doug Gust after passing Kory Ellis. John Natalie Jr used his high speed cornering to pass Doug on the outside on the up hill turn by the start. John Natalie Jr began to pull away from Gust initially, but the heat of the race must began taking its toll on him as Gust moved back to within striking distance.

Meanwhile, Jeremiah Jones spun out and tipped over in front of the announcer’s tower which sent him back to rear of the pack, and Tim Farr was well off his normal pace riding injured after jamming his back during practice and was out of the top 10 battling with Matt White. Pat Brown and Joe Byrd both quickly rebounded from the rough start and moved into the top 10, but Pat Brown charge ended early when he wrecked again going around a turn which sent back to almost last place, but he was able to get remounted and rejoin the race. Jeremiah Jones began his charge again and moved in on Matt White and Tim Farr, and was able to pick them both off and move into 10th place behind Jason Dunkelberger.

Out-front, the battle remained on between John Natalie Jr and Doug Gust with only a few laps to go, Gust and Natalie Jr made contact heading into a rhythm section which was enough to slow Natalie Jr down prevent him from having the speed to clear the triple, which gave Gust his opportunity to make the pass as “Digger” Doug Gust took over the lead and would go on to win the 1st Moto with John Natalie Jr in chase holding down the 2nd spot with Kory Ellis putting in another impressive rider for Yamaha/Alba Action finishing 3rd.
