The crew at Racer productions sure have a busy life! This Memorial Day weekend at High Point Raceway in Mount Morris PA. not only had the crew from the Motorcross Nationals on hand, but also managed to schedule a Quad race!

The view from the sign up trailer was none other then the High Point MX facility.

Although the number of riders was low, the amount of talent on hand was top notch.

Traci Cecco and close friend Johnny G. sign up for some fun on this holiday weekend.

Pappy
05-28-2005, 06:55 PM
Rain hit the area earlier in the day and watching the bikes race made everyone get out the duct tape and make preperations for a muddy event.

Brian Vasko chats with friends before the call to the line.

Pappy
05-28-2005, 06:57 PM
Sunshine not rain greeted the riders as they assembled on the line.

Sean Neidlinger awaits the start.

Pappy
05-28-2005, 06:58 PM
Adam McGill was on hand to keep himself sharp for the GNCC series.

Pappy
05-28-2005, 07:00 PM
GNCC superstar Chris Borich does not seem to miss a race if it is anywhere near him.

Pappy
05-28-2005, 07:01 PM
Gt Thunder owner Laz Sommers was ready for todays race!

Pappy
05-28-2005, 07:04 PM
The green flag was waved and the first row was off! This was a 45 minute race but the conditions in the fields would be enough of a challenge for everyone in the first 30 seconds!

Pappy
05-28-2005, 07:06 PM
the second turn was on a bit of an offcamber and the running order shifted as the YFZ pulled the field to turn 4

Pappy
05-28-2005, 07:08 PM
Johnny G leads Angel Atwell at the start. Johnny managed to keep the women near him all day!

Pappy
05-28-2005, 07:11 PM
Traci Cecco did not have the benefit of being outfront thru the first few turns, but that was about to change!

Pappy
05-28-2005, 07:12 PM
Row 2 finally got the green flag and Brandon Sommers was out front and charging after the "Pro Riders"

Pappy
05-28-2005, 07:14 PM
Neidlinger held the lead at the end of lap1 with everyone else making up ground...and fast!

Pappy
05-28-2005, 07:16 PM
With 1 lap complete and holding 2nd place, the once colorfull FST orange YFZ was now almost unrecognizable.

Pappy
05-28-2005, 07:17 PM
Borich had worked himself thru the field and was now in 3rd place, followed by Johnny G in 4th and Traci Cecco in 5th!

Pappy
05-28-2005, 07:19 PM
Vasko was holding his own and remained fairly clean:p

Pappy
05-28-2005, 07:21 PM
Brandon Sommers was reeling in the front row, and I was excited to finally get to see this talented young rider do his thing in the company of some of the best the GNCC has :macho

Pappy
05-28-2005, 07:23 PM
Laz Sommers had the hammer down and was chasing the roost of his son Brandon!

Pappy
05-28-2005, 07:25 PM
Once the riders started emerging from the woods after the 2nd lap, mud had covered everyone to the point I was having trouble picking out who was who.

Pappy
05-28-2005, 07:28 PM
Traci Cecco wasn't hard to keep an eye on as she held her own!

Pappy
05-28-2005, 07:30 PM
McGill was working his way to the front and is seen here carving out a turn in the drier grass just outside the main line.

Pappy
05-28-2005, 07:32 PM
On lap 3 the field stabilized and riders kept pace in the drying fields.

Pappy
05-28-2005, 07:34 PM
Acceleration gave way to superior braking as passes were made and attempted.

Pappy
05-28-2005, 07:36 PM
The Racer Productions trailer set the back drop for this shot. Sure would have looked better if the sun had cooperated:p

Pappy
05-28-2005, 07:39 PM
Traci Cecco worked herself up to second place behind Borich mid way thru the race!

Pappy
05-28-2005, 07:40 PM
Hot on her grabbar was Johnny G running in 3rd

Pappy
05-28-2005, 07:42 PM
Laz Sommers was shown in 6th place overall and was looking great! Brandon on the other hand was not having a good day. He was towed off the track late in the race after snapping a chain:(

Pappy
05-28-2005, 07:44 PM
Borich remained out front and appeared to be on rails!

Pappy
05-28-2005, 07:47 PM
The best battle of the day raged for laps! Traci Cecco wasn't going to go back to 3rd place no matter what Johnny G had up his sleeve!

Pappy
05-28-2005, 07:49 PM
Other riders came past me and I gladly took thier picture, but my mind was on the battle I knew was unfolding in the woods between Cecco and Johnny G. Being personal friends of both of these riders added some spark to see who would have bragging rights when this shin-dig was over:macho

Pappy
05-28-2005, 07:52 PM
Another lap and again, the battle wore on! Traci just wasn't letting up and johnny was not going away!

Pappy
05-28-2005, 07:56 PM
Neidlinger had fallen back from the leaders, but still remained strong thru the race.

Pappy
05-28-2005, 07:58 PM
Vasko hits the fields with 2 laps to go.

Pappy
05-28-2005, 08:00 PM
Standing waist deep in a hayfield kept me safe from the roost a few of these guys were thowing...a few;)

Pappy
05-28-2005, 08:02 PM
Borich appeared in the fields with 1 to go and showed no signs of taking it easy on anyone!

Pappy
05-28-2005, 08:04 PM
Johnny G finally put the moves on Traci and took over the 2nd spot

Pappy
05-28-2005, 08:06 PM
Chris Borich on his way to the checkered flag as he wraps up another dominating performance.

Johnny was able to keep Traci in check and they finished 2nd and 3rd respectivley! It was great watching you guys race!

Pappy
05-28-2005, 08:08 PM
Johnny was all smiles after the race!

Pappy
05-28-2005, 08:12 PM
It was a great time seeing everyone on a little bit slower pace today. At the big races so much is going on that time is cut short and fun is forgotton. I hope everyone enjoys the coverage as much as I enjoyed bring it here for all to see.

I also was able to smuggle out some before the race action. It seems that Johnny hit the Cardio Stack and ran off with Traci's chest protector! He is seen here scaring poor Brandon Sommers   :blah: (noone likes a bully Johnny! lmao)

See you all again soon:cool:
