06 400ex new color

No more yellow, the 400ex will be available in black or red just like the 05 450R..

i love the black, just seen it in my RED RIDER magazine yesterday. still not to sure if i like the body style, i hope that someday they offer the old style too.

The info is in the new issue of honda redrider atv magizine. you get them sent to you when you buy a honda atv new at the dealership. it is in the june/july episode.

i personaly like the older style compared to the 05 and i think the yellow looks awesome on the older ones

I like the black 450R but I like much more the yellow one

And the 2005 400ex is like a R I dont like it.The old 400ex style is better

IMO this is really stupid because it seems like honda is trying too hard to make the 400 look like the 450 , IMO honda should have kept the 400 the same as 04 and older. I think the 450r is one of the best quads ever built and i think that it deserves its own look. But when people see you coming they will say "Is that a 400ex or a 450R":grr:

yea i hate that honda is making the ex and R the same......... I love having a yellow EX. They need to figure somthing else out.

But i would also like to add that the 400ex should have its own look , since it is one of the best all around and trail quads made . IMO if honda wanted to give the 400ex a new look , they should have thought of something different.

I agree with all of you. I like the Old style better. We should try to get ahold of HONDA and tell them how we feel about the decision. I did the same thing with the "is that a 400ex or a 450r" this weekend with my buddys 450r but I didn't know it was him until he got really closee to me. The old fenders defined the 400ex model. Not any more. If you all decide to get ahold of honda let me know cauise I am in on it. Just my 2 cents though. Steve

I hope Honda is not trying to become like (gasp) Yamaha. look at the Raptor, the Warrior (now Raptor 350) they look the same, even the Blaster and the 450r all kinda look the same from a distance.

I like yellow 400's, Honda shoulda kept the 400 the way it was:(

anyways i dont think yamaha is quite as bad. i mean honda plopped identicle plastics onto the 400. atleast yamaha has given each bike its on distinctive lines and for the most part its very hard to confuse them.

LOL,yea i think you might need some glasses.

I like the knew body style more!BUT there is one thing i do agree with you is they need him look different.but the 05's got reverse :p
