Videotape to computer??

Does anyone know if they have and where I can get something that will let me record a video tape to the computer, my parents have a nice video camera I can use but it records to tape's only... any info would be appreciated

ya, once you install the card..it should come with a program to install, to watch it on the computer and to record it. It hooks up the same way you would hook it up to your tv to watch it on tv...just hope you have a good video card, or the quality wont bo too hot

I transfer mini dv footage onto my computer by using a program called Pinacle Studio. It is a full blown video editing package. Fairly easy to use also. For best results, a pc wlots of hard drive space an lots of speed.
