I need help installing my tierods..Pics inside

I need help with installing my tierods on my 400ex. I bought this from someone that didnt know what he was doing and he mixed parts up from other 4 wheelers. I am not sure if I have all the parts for my steering b/c the circled area rotates, and when you try to turn it doesnt sucessfully work. I figured it out, It seems that that other piece is not necessary and is from another 4 wheeler. Thanks.

Take the piece of metal off the spindal. Where that bolt goes through that piece of metal is where your tie rod end goes. Hope this helps ya.

I would say look up a parts microfitch thingy and look at it.

Hey Man, you've got it on wrong. The end that you have facing inward, actually attaches to the spindle. You're missing the plate that attaches from your tie rod to the spindle. Email me @ bertfull@gci.net w/ your picture & I'll send you the correct set-up from my "R".

His bike is a 400EX the place were the tierod end goes into is part of the spindle it doesn't bolt on like other quads. Take the plate off and put the tierod on.
