how do you get your number?

for racing how do you get your number...i just got a dirtbike and im going to start racing but how do you get your number? i heard it was somthing about your ama number or somthing?

Some riders and districts have you use the last 3 digits of your ama/atva card. If not pick a good 3 digit number that someone else is not using. Don't pick a common number like 1, 2, 4, 55, 199, etc. that alot of beginner riders want to use and then cover up at the race because someone else has.

Depends on what your racing. I know District 6 you pick a number and GNCC's they give you a number (if you didn't reserve it), and then the next year you get a earned number. I would check with what ever district or event holder.
