how hot?

how long should your crankcase and head stay hot or warm after riding? My exhaust colled down a hour before the rest of it did . Is this normal or did I just buy a lemon?

the 400ex runs at 250-275 degrees F. the xhaust will cool down faster because it is thinner, but since your engine is just a thick chunk of metal it will hold the heat longer.
