Cr250 in 400ex

Do you think that Cr250 engine will fit without big difficulty in a 400ex.I know that the Cr engine have a back kickstart but I think that would not be a problem.

Do you think that this swap will be difficult or the engine and frame are a little bolt-on?

www.servicehonda.com makes that exact conversion, and they even altered it to be a foward kick.

I know that but 4999 is pretty expensive for me,thats why I think about do it by myself

do it. just bump start it. that is what I do with my 400ex when I leave the key on. when there is another rider around I grab onto thier back bumper till we get up to speed then pop the clutch in 2nd gear.

or if I am alone I get a rolling start off the trailer gate. or a neerby hill.

Or just cut the rear fender so your foot clears for the kicker.
