Is it true that you can tune a white bros e-series pipe down to make it quieter??

hey as the title says,is it true becuz if so i want to do it it.Its a little to loud for my neghbor hood and i dont want to get the cops called on or get them around my neck of the woods.I but the bike with the pipe on it so its not like im loosing out on anymoney or anything but i would like to kno if its true and if that doesnt work what is the quites pipe is??

If you want it quieter you have to remove the plates that are on the end of silencer. I use to run 7 in mine. The more plates that you have the louder it is and the more performance you can get out of it.

If it the White Brothers pipe with the dics on the end you can take off some discs and it will quite it down a little.

ya i was running 1 disc to see what the performance would be like and it sounded like a stock bike(a tad bit beefier though) im running anout 12 now i think it sounds sweet:devil:

they also make some quiet core they call it, in my opinion it does nothing but make it louder, thats what it did for me anyways.

yea out like one or two disk in it and tou will be able to tell the difference in sound. But if you ever wnt to be real loud you can do this....

so is this something that i can do my self???i have some time tomorrow b4 i got to his gradutation party for this girl and im wondering how long it takes and everything.I was looking around my pipe and im running 6 disc and i probly will take 3 out and see how that runs but like i said is this something i can do my self or do u need a special tool?

i bought a quiet core of mine it was quieter than stock power was still good.
