300ex rev limiter

after f$%king with my machine, cutting out all the accessories - reverse lights, neutral lights, head/tail lights, kill/headlight switch, the d@*m reverse limiter kicks in when going forward.

i had this happening before, gave it to a shop and they fixed it. i ran it for 5-6 hours, ran great. all that i did was washing it and fired it up and the reverse limiter kicks in.

i have a aftermarket cdi.

cdi, bad wiring????

ANYONE KNOW HOW TO ELIMINATE THE THE REVERSE LIMITER IN THE WIRING/CDI.

one the right side clutch side the 2 wires under the black cover switch them and see if that work i know someone that that has happened to them.

i found the problem. the two ground wires connected to the battery bracket were disconnected. reconnect, fired right up.

take those ground wires back off and put some die electric grease on them.
