does anyone make a higher comp. piston then the 11:1 wiseco?
Since you didn't mention a quad I'm guessin this is for your lawnmower.....:o
Yes there are several pistons highe than 11:1. How high do you want to go and anything higher than the 11:1 requires Higher octane gas.

I would assume your talking about a 400ex since it is in the 400ex forum section.
Depends on the bore size also I know Je makes 13:1 in a 426 for the 400ex

12:1 in a 400ex you will need to run race fuel.
and your going to wear out your Rod in a quick way, possibly break it....

One thing to note on the 400EX. It's very close to the XR400, but not exact. The pistons are the same, so most (in fact, I think ALL) piston manufacturers sell aftermarket XR400 pistons as 400EX pistons. However, due to differences in cylinder design, an 12:1 compression XR400 piston is actually only about 10:1 in the 400EX engine.
Different thickness gaskets can usually correct the problem and bring it to a true 12:1.

somebody told me to put a xr400 head gasket because of is thickness compare to a 400ex head gasket.
Does I will have problem with a 11:1 compression piston and the xr400 head gasket and the stock studs?
