I finally got THE 450r! Freakin awesome upgrade from the beast (300ex). Now ive heard the stock header is the same size as most aftermarkets and is just as good too. Let me know if you know anything about this. Is it worth spending so much more on a header? thanks

if you plan on keeping your engine stock then get the slip-on...if you are planning on aftermarket cams/bore kits then go ahead and get the full exhaust

it depends on how much money you're willing to put into it really. i had a HMF Bill Balance series slip on and it was a big difference over stock, i loved the sound, and the torque. after a year of riding it and saving up for my winter rebuild, i put the Big Gun EvoX Full series and it was a world of difference! you could punch it and you could wheelie it rolling easily in 3rd. you could barely get the front end up just punching it in 2nd before. i love it. there's so much more top end, and you can turn it down to 94db without sacraficing hardly any hp! i love it, i'd never get a different exhaust, i've ridden my buddies quads with a Pro Circuit, Yoshi, and Baldwin. The baldwin was real nice too but i'd still stick with a Big Gun. the Yoshi and Pro Circuit didn't even compare really. if you have an extra $200, get the full, you won't regret it!

If you're not going to do extensive engine mods, get the Dr.D! I couldn't be more satisfied!!:D :macho

If you got the money get a full system. If you dont got the money get the Dr.D slip on. Ok i got a Curtis Sparks racing Big core pipe. Full system. The head pipe is 1/2 inch bigger in circumference. So that will allow more air flow = more power. Ok with the Dr.D it's a great slip on, great power increase. Cheap price also!

Ok with the Sparks, run a 190 main jet
with a Dr.D slip on run 182 main jet.

450R with DR.D Slip on . NO lid. jetted at 182. K&N Runs GOOD!

tried a 185 but ran like crap. So 182 is the jet to get.

124 seems a little to small. With any slip on need atleast 180 - 190 main jet..
