416ex vs. z435

My friend is getting a 435 kit in his z and he keeps telling me that he is going to be able to smoke me. I wasn't so sure, because he has a slip-on, air filter, and rev box all on his stock motor right now, and my brother on his stock 400ex (with pipe) was beating him pretty badly. And when I would drag race him I would kill him. Has any one with a 416ex raced a z435? And I know I should just wait and find out but I was just curious.

if you have a very very good built 416, theres a good chance you'll stay there with him, but if all he does is get the bore done, you'll beat him

My brother has a KFX440(439) with a ESR intake, full LRD exhaust, hot cams, 12.5:1 compression and a 450R carb and he gets me by about 1.5 - 2 bike lengths in a 500 foot sand drag. But when we switch riders the race is dead even(I weigh about 50 lbs more than him).

sorry to interupt the thread, but Khen, how is that 450r carb doin on your 400ex? just PM me w/ a reply so i dont mess up his thread

if he was getting beat by only a piped 400ex it has to be the rider.

a z with a pipe should be able to easily beat a 400ex with a pipe, but a more direct answer, no a 426 will not beat a 435 unless it is extremely well built.

Well when my brother and the kid on the z switch bikes the 400ex still wins. So it can't be the rider. The z just has a slip-on. And yea all he is doing is getting it bored to the 435 he isn't doing anything else to it.
