Has anyone put a CR (or aftermarket) clutch perch on their 400EX? My question is what to do with the wires coming out of the stock ***embly? Everthingelse is strait forward. Thanks for your help.

twist them together and tape them off. it will start in gear so be careful ;)

Is there any way for it not to start in gear with an aftermarket clutch?

leave the two wires apart and it will have to be in neutral to start. ;)

i just installed a magnum perch. i took the switch out of the stock perch, unplugged it, and taped up the ends. i didnt want to cut it just in case i need to reinstall the stock perch.

if you dont twist the wires together, it will not start unless you are in neutral like sickmojave said

that works ok, but youll wished you'd just joined the wires somehow..

even if you just shove some copper wire in the ends and tape it up, itll be alot less annoying later on..
