I'm using a 4 foot extension bar to get leverage, and I still can't move it.

I am turning it right or clockwise, because it is reverse threads.

I thought I was in the clear when It first moved about 1/2 turn at the begining, and now its impossible.

any suggestions? I'm ready to sell this thing

(oh, I'm doing a bearing carrier, and I'm trying to loosen the axle bolt so I can pull the axle out.)

I had the same problem. What i did was heat the hell out of it to melt all the locktite in there until it was red hot. Then i got my dads 2 foot cresent wrench and put a bar on the end and it finally cracked open. Make sure not to butcher it up to much.

You did remember to remove the little snap ring first didn't you?

I just used a big pipe wrench, you should replace that thing with an aftremerket locking nut anyway, so who cares what happens to it

lmao, yes, you need to turn it clockwise, after you remove the c-clip. I sure as hell hope you did that.

When you get that stocker off of there, order up a RAD locknut, makes the rear end much easier to take apart.
