Last night I traded my 1994 S10 and some money for this 99.
1999 Chevrolet S10 LS-4.3 V6 Vortec,3rd Door,Auto,Cruise,Air Conditioning,CD Player, tilt etc. As soon as I get it paid for I will be getting some clear corner lights for the grille, doing a 2/3 drop and a flowmaster 40 series.Anyways tell me what you think.

Thanks for the comments everyone, and believe me if I could afford it I would shave and bag it but I just dont have the money right now. I get sad seeing all the nice trucks on s10forum but I love my truck. You have a pretty nice truck if my memory serves my correctly dont you Bender? A bagged and body dropped dime?

dude if your going to use that truck to haul your quad dont lower it trust me...your gonna regret it esp with a quad on the back the rearend is going to squat 3 or 4 inches and you will be pretty much layin frame on every bump you hit

but s-10s do look good laid out tuckin 20s with a 3 inch body, a 4 link rear suspension and all them goodies but once you do that the truck becomes useless when its layin frame or all that showy stuff done

Not really. The whole point of adjustable suspension is to keep it off the ground when you are driving it, and trust me, there are plenty of canti setups that will get a shїtload of lift. I'll be able to haul the 250R if I still have it with a 3.5" bodydrop.

i cant agree with you about keeping them off the ground...nothin looks cooler than a truck railing down the highway at 60-65 mph with a shyt load of sparks...imo a truck becomes really useless when you lift it up really really high like so high you cant reach the bed...and becomes useless when you lay it...i know the bags will support the weight of the truck and quad...but i just wouldnt do it if i was going to bagg a truck id make sure i have a 2nd truck or vehicle to drive and haul quads on

Yep, when your like me and have way too many hobbies, you learn to make the best of both worlds. :D Actually, now that I think of it, when the S-10 was static, 3" blocks and a leaf removed, it never had a problem with weight in the back. I've put heavier things than the quad in it and i don't remember having much squat at all. It was damn low too, in the front it would tuck a little tire with 17s and 45s. Couldn't get a Coke can under the frame.

I used to be into all the bags and body drops and all that. But now I like things that have no worries when you get out on the road. More street class clean than top honors crazy.

here is how low the green truck was while it was static:

http://www.s91678300.onlinehome.us/alex/2dimerside2.jpg

Like I said, I dropped it by removing the fattest leaf (it was a ZQ8) so there was only 2 thin leafs left, then added 3 inch blocks and an wedge to correct the pinion angle, and used toxic drop shocks. I had no problem with it squatting in the rear.

On a side note, I just signed the green trucks title over to my brother. :( Since I never have time to go out and work on it, and it is at his place of employment, he has been working on it and some of the things he has done is so far from safe, the truck just scares me. So hopefully I will have enough money saved so at the end of the summer I can get another project, a third S-10.

Didn't you wreck that truck a while back? Do you have any pics of it after you bagged and body dropped it? Thanks for the comments every body, makes me feel even better about my purchase. Mikesamillion is that your silverado? Damn nice truck.

yes it got totalled.

I paid 500 for it after i wrecked it, and planned on rebuilding it from the ground up, but my brother took over..and as i said that didnt turn out good. These are the latest pictures i have, theres a couple more things done, got a bed, bumper, and stuff.

Its about 1.5-2" off of the ground in the front in that picture, so its not laid completely out. Its a traditional bodydrop, heres a bad picture of the floor:
