What does everyone do for summer jobs? I work at a BBQ resturant but want some more ideas, I would like to make more then 6.30 an hour 3 nights a week.

What do some of you do, or what are some possible suggestions?

i'm the "slave" around these coprorate headquarters buildings that run a management business for airports and malls and stuff...I just run around the buildings and do everything and anything I can from fixing a chair or desk to sorting papers into alphabetical order. I work from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. so at night when everyone leaves I do the garbage for about 150 people and vaccuum both buildings untill 9 p.m. (usually finished at 7 p.m.). The extra 2 hours I usually just sit on the computer, workout in the weight room & watch satellite TV, or take a shower. I get paid $10 an hour. Everyone here leaves at 5p.m. so I'm all alone at night.

Work at a quickmart usually 3 or 4 times a week, sometimes 5 from 4-11. Easy as hell just run the cash register. (6/hr -- 6.75 working by myself)

During the day I do landscaping under the table at 7.

So I generally get paid each week about 40, sometimes more hrs. landscaping plus another 21-28 from the quickmart so for summertime this is some good money for a 19 yr old who's gotta pay for school in the fall.

my hrs from the quickmart go for beer and gas, and the rest will cover the couple thousand I need for school:macho

I work at my uncles Auto-body shop, awesome job. During school I only work on the weekends 7-5 or 6 and now that it is summer I'll be working full time Monday threw Sunday, week on week off. I also scrap out junk air conditioners and heating units when my dad gets a few in (he owns AAA Heating and Air). I guess I make decent money for a 13 y/o.

I work about 30 hours a week at QuikTrip, which is a big chain of extremely professionally run gas station/convenience stores. Making $8 an hour plus multiple bonuses a month. I also mow 5 yards a week for cash. Ill also be selling a plymouth Neon I got for free, thats some quick cash.

was working at target at $7/hr. for the past 8 months, and i just quit their last week, and im gonna be workin with my dad doin home repairs/construction this summer, and mowin 1-2 yards a week

i want to get into landscaping and mowin yards, but i dont have good mowers. Cuz i get $20 for a yard that takes like 30 min. And if u think about it, thats like $40 an hour. Plus i just seem to enjoy cutting grass, idk why.
