Gaskets????

Here's the question, should I or should I not use some type of silicone while putting on my gaskets. Head and base???? I have not seen anyone do this on the engines they've built and I was just wondering why not??????

I WOULDNT PUT ANYTHING ON THE GASKETS.....JUST PUT THEM IN PLACE AND PUT IT TOGETHER

I used "GasketCinch" on my head gasket.

For anyone else who may have had the same question........I checked on Duncan Racings web-site. They said to put a thin layer of grease on the base gasket and a thin layer of some type of silicone on the head gasket????? I figure coming from them it may work out alright!!!
